Design work is under way on new intermodal transit and passenger processing infrastructure at Toronto Pearson International Airport for operator Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA).
Phase I of the new facility is expected to be ready by the mid-2020s.
HOK leads a design team including WSP Engineers and Weston Williamson + Partners. “This project will be transformational for Toronto Pearson by redefining the ‘front door’ of the airport, optimising terminal real estate, positioning the airport for the future, and improving the passenger experience for millions of travellers,” said Robert Chicas, director of aviation and transportation at HOK.
