StarLux Airlines, a new Taiwanese premium carrier, hopes to focus first on short-haul flights to airports in northeast and southeast Asia when it commences operations by 2020, officials have told Jane’s .
“We are evaluating all sort of possibilities for the choice of route for the first flight,” they added. “Since we are based in Taiwan, we are starting off regionally.”
StarLux would not identify specific destinations, but it is likely to operate from Taipei to Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
