Copenhagen Optimization showcased the newest module in its Better Airport scenario planning software suite during Passenger Terminal Expo, held on 20–22 March in Stockholm.
Better Check In is already in use at Stockholm Arlanda. It includes airline preferences and forecasts of passenger and baggage flow, to manage the allocation of check-in counters, as well as the corresponding queue areas. Better Check In includes a function called Queue Vision, which delivers data on where queues are stretching and where additional floor space can be allocated.
Better Airport also includes modules for security, flow forecast, border control, baggage-handling, stand and gate allocation, and shift selection.
