The Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) on 19 June approved a 17-year loan of BRL508 million (USD135 million) to BH Airport, the concessionaire at Tancredo Neves/Confins International Airport in Belo Horizonte.
BNDES took four years to assess the loan request from BH Airport. The loan covers 52% of the total cost of an expansion and modernisation project, including new passenger boarding bridges, aircraft parking positions, check-in counters, and passenger screening lanes.
BH Airport is a consortium between CCR Group and Zürich Airport operator Flughafen Zürich.
