Four weeks after beginning production of its Real Time Location System (RTLS), India-based e-Smart Systems Ltd displayed the wireless tracking and positioning technology for the first time at the IFSEC exhibition in London on 19–21 June.
RTLS includes two sets of tools, said e-Smart director Anurag Ashok. One gives positioning accuracy of 2 m and the other 30 cm, for customers that need very precise indoor positioning. The two technologies can be combined with wireless physical control.
One use case includes proprietary low-cost ultra-high frequency (UHF) receivers, which can be attached to baggage trolleys to generate data as they are pushed around the airport terminal.
