Contractors picked for Kuwait T2

27 July 2018

Five contracts have been awarded for development of the new Terminal 2 (T2) at Kuwait International Airport. The Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation did not name the contractors, but it disclosed that the contracts cover the design and expansion of the runway adjacent to T2, “small construction works”, and maintenance of roads and other facilities.

The new Terminal 4 (T4) at Kuwait International opened in July 2018. Designed for exclusive use by Kuwait Airways, T4 covers 225,000 m2 with 14 gates, duty-free shops and parking space for up to 2,450 cars. In April, Incheon International Airport Corporation was selected to manage and operate T4.
