Space-based ADS-B data provided by the Aireon service will be integrated into the LeadInSky suite of automation products from Leonardo, after the two parties announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 10 September.
Evolved from the SATCAS system that was installed worldwide in more than 150 centres, LeadInSky is equipped with multilevel fallback and disaster recovery solutions, to guarantee high availability of data processing and consistency through different levels of redundancy.
A range of modular and integrated products in LeadInSky can be combined to comply with operational requirements in different ATM environments, from large, nationwide area control centres to terminal airspace.
