Handling aeronautical information is a routine activity for the US division of Frequentis in California. Its message handling systems are deployed worldwide, with recent growth among European air navigation service providers (ANSPs).
Frequentis reports a 70% share of the European aeronautical message handling system (AMHS) market following the completion of recent projects. Among these, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority in Greece completed its migration to AMHS from multiple legacy connections – including fax and X.25 – in May 2018.
Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic (ANS CR) also selected the Frequentis smartMessenger solution to upgrade aeronautical message handling across the country.
