Winnipeg to test robot Snow Mauler

Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport in Canada is to host trials of a robotic snowplough in early 2019.

This will be the first trial of an autonomous snow clearance vehicle at a North American airport.

A partnership between Northstar Robotics Inc, Airport Technologies Inc (ATI), and the Winnipeg Airport Authority is converting a four-wheel drive ATI Snow Mauler to function autonomously.
