Oslo shortens walking times to eight gates

19 October 2018

The Norwegian subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp has begun installing a moving walkway on the pedestrian footbridge that links Pier A (South Pier) and Pier B (West Pier) at Oslo Gardermoen Airport.

The walkway from ThyssenKrupp Rulletrapper will shorten the walking time between the eight gates that are the greatest distance from the central terminal area at Oslo.

After the initial construction phase, the passenger bridge will be open for passengers leaving the airport. Passengers arriving at the airport will be transferred directly by bus to the arrivals hall/baggage area reclaim until the area is ready in December.
