An industry consortium has joined forces with the Israeli government in a broad effort to offer cyber security solutions for the global commercial aviation industry.
Yigal Unna, director general of the Israel National Cyber Directorate, announced the initiative on 14 November in Tel Aviv, during the Fifth International Conference of Homeland Security and Cyber organised by the Israel Export Institute.
"The Israeli Cyber Directorate has identified a major need for commercial aviation solutions as an important goal to improve cybersecurity, and encourages the Israeli cyber industry to invest in these activities in the field of innovation,” Unna said at a press briefing.
