Heathrow Airport on 8 January launched its second public consultation on its expansion programme, with more than 30 events planned in local areas.
The Airspace and Future Operations consultation lasts until 4 March, covering three topics: local factors in changing airspace to optimise use of the existing two runways; future operations (including noise management and night flights) at Heathrow with a third runway; and airspace changes at an expanded Heathrow, including proposed flight paths.
“We are committed to delivering the expansion responsibly, and we encourage everyone to have their say and take part,” said Emma Gilthorpe, Heathrow executive director for expansion.
