Long-haul traffic helps Munich to motor

Passenger traffic at Munich Airport reached an all-time high of 46.3 million in 2018, marking a 3.8% increase with a record load factor of 77.5%.

Traffic on long-haul flights rose by about 7%, slightly faster than European routes (5%). Domestic traffic decreased by 1%.

Aircraft movements grew by 2.2% to 413,469, but cargo volume fell by 2.8% to 368,377 tonnes.
