Goldhofer to build new plant in Germany

Germany-based ground support equipment manufacturer Goldhofer is investing in a new Airport Technology production facility in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany.

The company will open a 30,000 m 2 site in Nürtingen, 20 km from its existing production facility in Ostfildern, with construction scheduled to begin in 2020 for completion by 2022.

“For us it was a major objective to modernise and upgrade our production facility,” said Lothar Holder, head of the Goldhofer Airport Technology division. “As part of our global growth strategy in the Airport Technology division, we continue to focus on bundling our production capacities in Germany with our twin locations in Memmingen and Ostfildern or, in future, Nürtingen.
