IER has provided 30 self-service check-in kiosks and 12 self-service bag drop (SBD) units for the newly renovated and modernised Terminal 1 (T1) at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport.

The IER 919 check-in kiosks and i820 SBD units (the first to be installed at an airport) will provide Royal Air Maroc (RAM) passengers departing from the terminal with a smoother check-in process.

On arrival in the terminal building passengers will be able to complete their check-in at a kiosk and choose from a range of options such as language preference and seat selection before printing out their luggage tag and proceeding to the SBD position, where they will only need to scan the tag before the bag is inducted into the baggage-handling system.
