Indra has reported new air traffic management business in Argentina and India, and completion of a project in Panama.
After a competitive public international tender, air navigation service provider Empresa Argentina de Navegación Aérea (EANA) awarded Indra a contract to equip eight airports with instrument landing system (ILS) equipment.
The value of the deal was undisclosed.
ILS Cat II systems will be supplied for seven airports: Bariloche, Corrientes, Mar del Plata, Posadas, Resistencia, Tucumán, and Ushuaia (serving the southernmost city in the world). Cordoba Airport will receive a Cat III system.
Indra will work with EANA on initial factory tests before installing and commissioning the equipment.
