ADB SAFEGATE launched a new Airside Location-Based Inspection and Service (ALIS) solution for scheduling and tracking airside maintenance actions in March.
The cloud-based platform is used to register airside assets using GPS data, schedule and track maintenance, and record these tasks as they are completed. An interactive map view enables maintenance teams to carry out observations reporting, capture the location, status, and photograph assets to relay to the airside operations centre in real time.
ALIS can also be integrated with an electronic wrench to record torque inspections of airfield lighting fixtures and integrate these with photometric measurements to record asset status. The information can be used to help plan and schedule preventative maintenance and improve operational availability.
