Vision-Box announced on 11 April that it will roll out “one of the largest biometric boarding airport platforms in the USA”, under a co-operation agreement with the Terminal One Group Association (TOGA) at New York JFK.
Lufthansa will be the first TOGA carrier to offer seamless biometric processing in a pilot deployment at JFK Terminal 1 (T1), from where 26 international airlines operate. “Air France, Japan Airlines, and many others expected to follow suit.” according to Vision-Box.
