18 April 2019

SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins, reports it has been awarded a set of contracts to support sustainable expansion at the UK hub, Heathrow.

The five contracts cover airport connectivity; energy and utilities; water, including drainage and flood prevention; land use and development zones; and construction delivery support.

As a member of the Integrated Design Team (IDT) at Heathrow – alongside Arup, Grimshaw, Mott MacDonald, Jacobs, Quod, and Woods Group – Atkins will provide design and advisory services as the airport prepares for its next public consultation in June on its third runway plan, before a Development Consent Order is filed in 2020.
