Checkpoint sensor helps passengers to leave nothing behind

30 April 2019

NUCTECH has added a new feature to its Keyline checkpoint scanning system to optimise throughput by addressing instances when passengers fail to retrieve personal possessions (such as passport or small coins) from the tray after being screened.

A sensor in Keyline detects when objects have been left behind or if the tray is halted or diverted before it goes through the automatic tray return system; security staff are then alerted to inform the passenger to retrieve the items.
