Eiffage in the picture for Toulouse stake

16 May 2019

Casil Europe is in talks with French civil engineering and construction group Eiffage to sell its 49.99% stake in Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.

Eiffage has a track record in transport infrastructure development in the road and rail sectors, but no prior experience in airport concessions.

Casil Europe has managed Toulouse-Blagnac since December 2014 when the 49.99% share in the airport is sold by the French government to the Symbiose consortium of Chinese and Canadian investors. However, the government has denied permission for Casil Europe to become the majority shareholder in Toulouse-Blagnac, which is the third-largest regional airport in France by passenger volume (9.63 million in 2018).
