The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a draft revision of its Advisory Circular (AC) on towing aircraft, following collisions and runway incursions involving pushback and tow tugs.
The FAA is accepting comments on the draft revision until 13 June.
The AC was first published almost 20 years ago. The draft update includes generally accepted safety practices and information intended to prevent personal injury and damage to aircraft and equipment during ground-handling operations.
