United shifts to new-look LaGuardia Terminal B

05 June 2019

United Airlines moved its New York LaGuardia operations to the new Terminal B concourse and opened a new lounge on 2 June. Five new gates enable United to operate about 40 flights a day in the new eastern concourse of Terminal B at LaGuardia, which is undergoing a USD8 billion overhaul.

Sixteen of the 18 gates in the eastern concourse are now available to United, with the remaining two scheduled to open in 2020. The 250,000 ft² concourse opened in December 2018.

The United Club lounge is 30% larger than the previous club lounge at LaGuardia and is located on the second level of the new concourse after the security checkpoint.
