Groupe ADP announced on 8 November that it aims to take a “majority and controlling stake” in Airport International Group (AIG), the operator of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman, Jordan.
Groupe ADP, which already owns 9.5% of AIG, is in a consortium with Meridiam and ASMA Capital Partners to take over the concessionaire.
Exclusive negotiations are under way, and a deal will be reached pending approval from the Jordanian government and project lenders.
